Several years after implementing Oracle DRM, Trane Technologies (formerly known as Ingersoll Rand) wanted to simplify their metadata administration and replace manual data governance processes and application updates with a more automated solution. They evaluated Oracle DRG and EDMCS but it did not meet the requirements and did not have seamless integrations to keep HFM, Essbase, EPBCS, OAC and R12 in sync. Luckily, Trane found EPMware Cloud and created a unified master data and data governance platform for all of their EPM needs.
